My daughter and I played with discharge dyeing with bleach ...........paying attention to ventilation and protection. We used Kona black fabric and undiluted bleach (in small quantities) with ear cottons. It was so much fun. The bleached parts turned a lovely pale copper colour. We  tried red fabric but didnt notice any difference with that. A repeat performance is planned using diluted quantities, printing and brush work. I understand that there are pastes that take the colour out of fabric but we just wanted to try something inexpensive to begin with. Anyone else out there into bleach discharge dyeing?
